Description

Last year at the 2025 Jota Anniversary Willersey Event, I made a point of visiting PK’s trophy collection gazebo with a poster that I had had printed.  Back in 2023 I had approached Motorsport Images, the copyright holders of this picture with the view to allowing me to get a print signed by PK and raffled off for charity.  I’m really pleased that they were happy to provide the image for this purpose and I had it printed in moisture proof pvc so that they could take pride of place in somebody’s garage as well as in the living room.

Come the 2025 event, I spotted the opportunity to chat to PK.  What a gent and so quietly spoken.   We had recently launched the Slaters ‘What the Hell is a Jota?’ charity shirt with each sale having a significant contribution to the Alzheimer’s Society and I told PK of my plan to raffle off his signed picture with ALL proceeds going to Alzheimer’s research.  He was, of course, completely on board with this and was only too happy to sign.  Many thanks, Peter.

The first raffle tickets were sold at the ILOC AGM in April 2026; I’m pleased to say that you can now purchase five raffle tickets for the chance of winning the signed picture.   Five raffle tickets will cost £5.  Once purchased, I will not be sending your tickets to you (to save on postage) but will send you your ticket numbers by email (make sure to check the correct postage option on checkout).  I will provide an image of the tickets if you feel that that is necessary.  This raffle will continue through the year, with the winning ticket being drawn at the ILOC stand on Sunday at the Stafford Classic Bike show in October.  ALL PROCEEDS (net of Paypal administration costs) will be sent directly to the Alzheimer’s Society in October.  The winner will be notified by email or phone after the Stafford Show in October and the poster will be sent out by registered mail.

My special thanks go to Malcolm Cox, who has used his relationship with the family to confirm that this raffle still has their support.
